Contraception advice and support:
We welcome opportunities to discuss about family planning. There are a wide range options available and can be hard to make decisions. You are very welcome to speak with your GP or nurses to consider possible options and make a decision. We prescribe tablets, patches and injections. We also offer advice and procedures for Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) - mainly introduction of implants and there is limited availability to fit coils.
Locally you can request LARC (Coil or Implant) from services as follows

Vasecotmy
Mid Hampshire Healthcare service is providing vasectomy service for patients living in Hampshire and Isle of Wight area. Vasectomy is a quick, safe, and effective method of male sterilisation. Sterilisation is a permanent method of contraception, suitable for people who are sure they never want children or do not want more children. It involves a small surgical procedure. A small portion of the tubes (vasa), which carry sperm from the testicles to the penis, are removed and the ends of the tubes are sealed which in turn means the semen contains no sperm and cannot therefore fertilise the egg.
