Quit Smoking

We are aware that quitting smoking isn’t easy! We also know that deep down you are aware of benefits of giving up that it improves your own health as well as the health of those around you. We firmly believe that even contemplating the idea of stopping smoking like reading this paragraph is a step in the right direction so keep going.

One to One Support 

You're four times more likely to quit with support and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). Southampton City Council provides support for quit smoking services locally and their webpage offers information about possible options available close to home including links to NHS Smoke Free and Personal quit plans. 

Pharmacy stop smoking service

Local pharmacy stop smoking services are free and friendly. Southampton City Council's page provides a list of pharmacies who offer this service to anyone who lives in Southampton or has a Southampton GP. You can just go in and chat through your options, no need to be referred.  They can offer free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) and support in person or sometimes by phone. They know it can be hard and are there to offer you the latest help to support you and are e-cigarette friendly.
