Locally NHS offers four tiers of weight loss programme depending on their weight and engagement with weight management programmes on offer.
Tier 1: Universal programme for all patients who are over weight (BMI more than 25 Kg/m2)

Tier 2: Weight Management Programme - For patients with a BMI of ≥30 kg/m2 (adjusted to ≥27.5 kg/m2 for patients who are black, Asian, or have ethnic minority background):
Please contact us to discuss about your nees and recommendations for possible referrals to relevant services depending on your risk of developing diabetes or high blood pressure. There are two potential options available:
Tier 3 & 4: Speical Weight Management Service & Surgical Interventions:
These are specialist services and available to patients who must have engaged with Tier 1 & Tier 2 services within a 2-year period (with or without success to achieve/maintain weight loss). Tier 3 service provides 6-month specialist service multisciplinary approach and Tier 4 services offer surgical interventions for patient who are fit for anaethesia and surgery and can commit to long-term life style modifications and follow up.
